Think of this as the pilot for a podcast. See me sitting on the floor of a closet, mic in hand, hoping my voice is audible and the cars in the parking lot on the other side of the wall are not. I love telling stories, and I love reminiscing, searching my past for lessons to carry onward.
I want to make more of these, but first I had to see if I could make one. Had to test out the tools and practice editing and scoring my soliloquy. The music is from Nine Inch Nails' "Ghosts" series of instrumentals, a collection I've used before and will continue to plunder. It's easy to sound good when you steal from the best.
If I do make more, they'll take the form of an actual, downloadable podcast, available for you to carry around in your phone and forget about till you need to make space for more pictures of food. I'm so good at self-promotion. I'll work on coming up with the most important aspect of podcasting, a snappy sendoff. Till then, later player!
